Zimbabwe President Emmersorn Mnangagwa extended the country Lockdown by another 2 weeks, to 3 May 2020.

The President said in a live broadcast feed, due to the number of in-country infections, and the suppressed number of tests done, a national lockdown extension has been effected by 14 days.

President Mnangagwa has urged fellow citizens to stay home and stay safe whilst the government creates institutions for COVID-19 patients and store in enough tests kits for all provinces.
